I was inspired today to revisit my very first fashion spread.  One thing about Detroit that has always remained true is whether now or then, it is a most beautiful backdrop.  
Even if it is under attack by a 50ft fashionista. 

Work it out.

Sometimes I find myself in peculiar angles.  I may be flying high up in a prop plane to shoot estates; Spinning about in the thick of a dinner rush; or herding pups for a fashion spread.  Other times, I find myself being run over by a football player; On the receiving end of a racquetball; Clicking frantically before the lap swimmer turns and a wave of blue water hits; or climbing a small indoor mountain harnessed in to take the shot that inspires the most vertigo (in the midst of my vertigo).  And this is what that looks like:
